The # 1 preventable death after injury is bleeding. That’s why we train you on how to STOP
THE BLEED.
By learning how to STOP THE BLEED, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening
bleeding and act quickly and effectively by learning three quick techniques. Take the STOP-
THE-BLEED training course and become empowered to make a life-or-death difference when a
bleeding emergency happens.
The 3 techniques are:
(1) Wound Packing
(2) Pressure application
(3) Tourniquet application
This course is available to all who want to help and make a difference
In person and online classes available (lecture only). If lecture portion is taken online, a skill sign
off session is required for 100% completion of course and certification given.

Once completed, you will need to bring your email with the test results to schedule and take the
skills portion of the training.
