Advanced Cardiac Life Support




It is a life-saving protocol for cardio vascular emergencies, these emergencies are more advanced. It is used in cardiac emergencies such as cardiac arrest, stroke, heart attack and other conditions.

It should be applied only by medical and paramedical personnel, who have more advanced training in emergency cases where they must be able to identify the difference between one case and another, as well as be able to attend the emergency in any scenario.

The person must have the ability to:



- Mechanical ventilation using a ventilator assists or performs breathing.

- Using a defibrillator

- Intravenous or central venous catheter placement to deliver fluids, medications, and blood transfusions

- Prescribe medications

- Chest tubes or needle decompression to re-inflate a collapsed lung

- Respiratory treatments for asthma or allergic reactions.
